Class Schedule:
Classes in most locations begin the second week of September and all classes end in May with our spring recital.
- Registration is open until December 15th on a space available basis.
- Classes consist of one hour of instruction weekly (half hour of ballet, half hour of tap).
- There will be no classes held the Friday after Thanksgiving, the week between
Christmas Eve and New Year's day, and the week of the public school's spring break.
Dress:
Dancers should wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes (Pink Ballet and Black Tap) on dance day. Dancers are allowed to pull on a skirts/tutu. Please dress accordingly for class because it can often cause staffing problems for the schools! Please remember to put your child's name in their shoes..
Recital:
Our Recital will be held during the month of May and is free and open to the public. There is a $35.00 recital fee per child, which is used to offset the cost of the production. The recital fee must be paid by April 1st. The recital costume fee is $60.00 and is due by December 1st..
Withdrawal:
Notification of dancers withdrawal from class must be made in writing: via letter or our website. If notification is NOT given by dancers parent/guardian to ABC Dance Class, then any refund is void and not owed to the parent/guardian. Your school is not responsible for letting us know the status of your dancer.
Special Note:
ABC Dance reserves the right to terminate any student's enrollment in dance class at any time, for any reason. A parent or guardian may withdrawal their child from dance class at anytime, for any reason. ABC Dance reserves the right to use group or individual photos taken at the dance recital and during class of your dancer to include, but not limited to our program promotions, displays and material.
